Abstract

The knee is in the focus of public interest especially concerning sports related injuries. This article gives a short review of current concepts in the management of knee injuries in sports regarding anterior cruciate ligament ruptures, posterior cruciate ligament injuries, meniscal tears and cartilage damage.
