We correct a missing prefactor of 2 in the evaluation of the entanglement entropy of Hofstadter bilayers. As a qualitative consequence, the corrected thermodynamic inverse entanglement entropy is, at strong coupling, proportional to the phenomenological one. The general concept of the thermodynamic entanglement temperature versus phenomenological temperature scales remains, along with the pertaining formulae, unchanged.
