Abstract

A model is presented in which many of the observed structures and phenomena of elementary particle physics are encoded in group- theoretic items of the permutation group S-4. Some details of the model, such as the assignment of charges, the possible accommodation of the fermion mass hierarchy and the inclusion of vector bosons, are worked out.
