Abstract

The reduced matrix elements a(2) and d(2) are computed in lattice QCD with N-f=2 flavors of light dynamical (sea) quarks. For proton and neutron targets we obtain as our best estimates d(2)((p))=0.004(5) and d(2)((n))=-0.001(3), respectively, in the (MS) over bar scheme at Q(2)=5 GeV2, while for a(2) we find a(2)((p))=0.077(12) and a(2)((n))=-0.005(5), where the errors are purely statistical.
