In tension-type headache, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, and a combination of acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol, and caffeine ore drugs of first choice; paracetamol is drug of second choice in tension-type headache. Acute drugs for idiopathic headache should not be taken on more than 10 days per month and not longer than three consecutive days.
