Abstract

The organometallic compound GdCp3 (CP = cyclopentadienyl) in ether solution shows a green luminescence (lambdamax = 523 nm, phi = 0.2). It is suggested that this emission originates from a triplet of the Cp-3(3-) moiety. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
