Next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD corrections to Higgs boson hadroproduction have recently been calculated in the heavy top-quark limit m(t) --> infinity. The m(t) --> infinity limit introduces double-logarithmic corrections in In x, with x equivalent to m(H)(2)/s. We identify these corrections order by order in alpha(s). As an application, we derive an analytic expression for the dominant x much less than I part of the NNLO coefficient. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
