Abstract

6,6"-Terpyridyl-bishydroquinone conjugates are synthesised by Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling and their conformational switching, triggered by protons, zinc(II) or cobalt( II), is studied by cyclovoltammetry and in situ UV/Vis/NIR and FT-IR spectroelectrochemistry.
