The University Library of Regensburg, Germany, has developed a special service for the use of electronic journals, called the Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek (EZB). This Electronic Journals Library has been online since 1997 and is now used by 138 libraries. The participating libraries are cooperating in order to offer their users a constantly updated service of high quality. The EZB offers user-friendly access to a large number of titles. Free titles and licensed e-journals are presented within a single user interface. Each title entry offers information regarding the accessibility of full-text articles.
