Lentigo maligna and Lentigo maligna melanoma are pigmented neoplasms usually found on the face of elderly individuals. The unique location and specific histology of the face requires new criteria for dermatoscopic diagnosis. The clinical recognition of these lesions is enhanced with the criteria and findings delineated here.
