The main conceptual prerequisites for the development and introduction of a standardised documentation system in psychiatry (in this Ease: psychosocial rehabilitation) are discussed. These will help to improve the acceptance of the system and optimise the quality of the data. Since the positive motivation of the staff is decisive, it is essential to meet their needs and demands.
