Abstract

Tumor necrosis is often caused by vasculature shutdown, and the exploitation of altered features of the vasculature within solid tumors may give rise to novel forms of therapy. A recent meeting* discussed the relationship between vessel damage and tumor necrosis, and prospects for vascular targeting.
