Abstract

Optically active salicyloxazolines were obtained by condensation of salicylcarboximidates with chiral aminoalcohols. In the enantioselective copper-catalyzed cyclopropanation of styrol with ethyl diazoacetate optical inductions up to 60% ee were achieved with these ligands.
