Abstract

The N-oligosaccharyltransferase activity was found to be normal in fibroblasts from five patients with the carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome type I and type III using an assay based on dolichyldiphosphoryl-N-N'-diacetylchitobiose as donor and a hexapeptide as acceptor substrate.
