Abstract

We find the coefficients of the gluonic condensates of dimension four in the operator product expansion of the propagators of pure QCD in covariant gauges to lowest order in the coupling. We explicitly check that the Slavnov-Taylor identity is fulfilled. We observe that the combinations of condensates found do not combine to yield <G2>. Indeed new tensor structures not present in the gauge invariant gluon condensate occur.
