Abstract

A program is created to study remagnetization processes and magnetization states for a single particle. As example the case of a cylindrical particle is considered. The program uses a special space discretization taking into account the shape of the particle. A new self-consistent iteration procedure with additional checks of iteration success and with the moment-field angle convergence criterion enables to be avoided false metastable equilibrium states. The results of test calculations for fanning and coherent rotation modes are shown. Several new possibilities to accelerate the convergence of the usual iteration procedure and to reduce computer time required for one iteration step are suggested.
