Treatment for vesico-ureteral reflux in childhood still remains controversial: either operative or conservative procedure, or now the endoscopic correction. Operative methods (e.g. Lich-Gregoir, Leadbetter-Politano, Cohen) are very successful stopping the reflux, but many observations of spontaneous remission of reflux were found, when antibiotic therapy and prophylaxis was taken out duly. The new method of endoscopic injection of teflon or collagen into the bladder is well established, brings good results, but needs more time of observation for further evaluation.
