Abstract

The complex Pt(II)(NTH2)Cl-2 with NTH2 = Naphthyl Trost ligand is characterized by an IL phosphorescence (lambda(max) = 525 nm) which appears only at low temperatures. At r.t. this emission is quenched, probably by a LF excited state which may be located at energies close to that of the emitting IL triplet. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
