Abstract

Complexes of Pd(II), Rh(I) and Ir(I) with p-quinone ligands are characterized by metal or ligand (iodide,azide) to quinone CT transitions. CT excitation yields hydroquinones as reduction products. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
