Abstract

In the first half of 2017 Dutch study programmes on Educational Sciences were visited as part of the assessment process. During and after the visits the panel reflected on chances to further strengthen the programmes on Educational Sciences. This contribution describes how the programmes (each of them on its own, but also in collaboration) may grasp the opportunity to: reflect the full scope of educational research show the diversity of educational practice attract new target groups interact with other disciplines and the (inter-) national society use empirical evidence from educational research aim at integrated educational goals at programme level concentrate professionalization initiatives on strengthening agency
